Modavia Fashion Week (September 8-15, 2011) opens at 11am SLT on September 8th with a show featuring the highlights of the week ahead for invited press and bloggers. Fifty of the best couture designers in SL will present their new autumn collections over the next 8 days, kicking off with the LaGyo/LG Concept partnership and culminating in a showcase of emerging talent and the much-awaited preview of new fall designs from Paper Couture on September 15 at 5pm SLT. All shows will take place on the MODAVIA sims which will also host an exclusive on-site boutique selling all the FW looks seen on the runway.

“I felt necessity to learn about PRIMs in order to maintain TEMPURA ISLAND. That was the trigger that made me begin to create objects. I selected jewelry as a start since I felt it might be easy to make because of its small size. But once I started to create them actually, the work was more difficult and laborious than I had expected. I had not thought that I would open a shop in SL.
MANDALA means in Buddhism a picture of the world where Buddha lives. I am a religious Buddhist.
Both MANDALA and TEMPURA ISLAND are managed based on strong principle of Buddhism.
All designs of jewelries are born from my own brain. So you can see many different designs comparing with other brands.
In the future, I would cultivate my skill and challenge other items than jewelries.”
All the creations you can find on Mandala are amazingly textured, and all of them so creative, that you won’t want to leave the store without bring everything with you! I know Mandala myself for some time and I cant resist to bring only one item when I go there! It’s impossible…

Recently Miffyhoi Rosca gave me her first formal creation from Zenith! It’s called Moulin Rouge! I was really happy to be asked to blog this tem for her, for two reasons: shes’s a delightfull person that came to me saying that follows CLOSET DISCLOSURE, which I thought it was ultra kind from her, and above all cause I get impressed by the texture and details it has, along with this amazing red and vivid color!
The picture don’t do justice for the gown itself, you have to see it ‘live’!
